The solid silicone injection process is a new type of silicone production process, which puts solid silicone into the machine barrel. A high-precision screw is then used to inject the silicone into the mold, and the silicone product is cured through a combination of heat, pressure and time. Compared with the compression molding process, the injection process can produce more complex silicone products with higher production efficiency.
Its main production process is :Silicone mixing→Putting the silicone in the machine barrel →Injecting silicone into the mold→Molding →QC→After-moulding process.

Advantages of injection process
1. Can produce complex shapes, big size silicone products with high production efficiency, and automation process possible.

2. Better control of the material weight and position of the injection, so that the rubber distribution is more even which resulted in better dimensional accuracy.

3. During the entire molding process, silicone flow inside a closed tunnel (the barrel,screw and mould), so not easy to be contaminated, the production yield rate is higher, especially for the light color products.

4. Solid rubber raw material’s cost is relatively lower compared with LSR.

5. Solid silicone is easily to make into different color compared with LSR .
